In the study "Digital Champions 2022", social listening based on the topics of digitalisation, technology and innovation was carried out and a questionnaire completed by the companies surveyed was evaluated. In the "Technical Component Manufacturers" category, we took 2nd place with 87.9 out of 100 points. The "Company of the Year 2022" study recognises companies that have performed particularly well in the previous 2021 Social Listenings "Award Winner", "Highest Trust", "Customer Favourites" and "Germany's Best - Sustainability". Here we also took 2nd place in the "Technical Components" category (different name, almost the same competitors) with 97.3 out of 100 points. 10th February 2022 | As part of corporate social responsibility, igus India is partnering with Akshayapatra Foundation, an Indian non-governmental organisation based in Bengaluru. The organisation works to eliminate hunger in classrooms by introducing the Mid-Day Meal programme in government and government-aided schools. This provides healthy food for over 1.8 million children in India on every school day. The Indian subsidiary of igus supported with Happiness Kits for 308 children during the COVID Lockdown. Each of these kits consists of immune-boosting food, educational items and hygiene products.
3rd February 2022 | The Chicago Athenaeum, a private museum of architecture and design in Galena, Illinois, has presented the Good Design Awards for more than 70 years. The goal is "to create an awareness about contemporary design and to honor both products and industry leaders in design and manufacturing that have chartered new directions for innovation and pushed the envelope for competitive products in the world marketplace." Good Design® was founded in Chicago in 1950 by Charles and Ray Eames, among others. We were awarded for our virtual-real trade show booth IMPS and six of our products and are very happy about it!
