Technical implementation

In order to prepare the articulated arm for work involving splash water, it was equipped with watertight robolink® D joints which are moved with four IP65 stepper motors (also watertight). igus® manufactured the connecting plates between the joints specially to match the work process involved. The customer developed the suction gripper independently. The sequence of articulated arm movements is controlled with a self-programmed control system.
