Several parts from the igus® product range have been installed for an automatic secondary packing – especially inside the conveyor rolls in the areas of“loading” and “filling”. iglidur® plain bearings support each of the transport rolls. Glue often adhered to the packing material when conventional rolls – Teflon-coated metal rollers – were used, which also impaired the rotation. High performance polymer plain bearings from the product series iglidur® could solve the problems.
