Minimised friction in the foot door opener

This foot door opener is a purely mechanical foot-operated door handle, which is installed flush in the lower part of the door leaf. A little pressure onto the pedal is enough to operate it via the innovative technology. Pushing up as well as pulling the door is possible with “FODO” (“Foot Operated Door Opener”). The target groups for it are hospitals or medical practices. Plain bearings from igus® have been used for the moveable parts of the pedals – they minimise friction and maintain running silence.
