Brewery technology

A lifting and turning station is installed inside an outdoor cleaning machine for a KEG barrel, which lifts the small barrel from the conveyor belt and rotates it in order to be cleaned from all sides. Stainless steel guide rails with WJUM bearing housings from igus® have been used. The assembly was too big and expensive in its original design. By the use of plain bearing elements from igus®, a cost-effective and more compact guide solution could be realized.
