Go to application

A classic pick & place task in the field of material handling for assembly preparation.
The application ensures a colour mixing of the components in the two Euro containers, which can then be transported on to the appropriate work station by means of a roller conveyor belt.

The problem

Preparatory processes of this kind are often very monotonous. In order to ease the work here, simple robotic solutions are used. They ensure that the production processes run smoothly and are therefore an elementary part of a manufacturing process.

The solution

An igus room linear robot which is optimally positioned above the roller conveyor belts and Euro containers. In combination with a gripper unit, it represents a cost-effective, lubrication-free and easy-to-integrate automation solution.
