Build a camera slider yourself

A camera slider is a popular tool for even camera movements during product shots or in time-lapse sequences. This can be a simple linear rail with a carriage, on which the camera is mounted and moved back and forth manually. It can also be a more complex system with a motor and control system if automation, remote control and more precision are required.

If you don't want to use a ready-made system, you can customise a slider with our motion plastic components:

with a drylin ® linear axis with dry-running sliding elements that require no maintenance and run very quietly thanks to the absence of balls
with the matching drylin® electric motor and control system
optionally with an E3-energy chain, which ensures reliable media transmission, with space for two cables
