Systems for the automotive industry, among others, flow mould drilling (extremely high speed), thread cutting (low speed) and screw tightening (with extremely low speed and torque control) in a single operation. With Weber automatic screwdriving machines, flow forming drilling, thread cutting and screw tightening can be realised in a single operation. The triflex® TRC chain is filled with electric cables and a feed hose through which the screws are fed towards the screwdriving unit at the head of the robot. The kink protection of the triflex® R system ensures that the screws are fed in correctly.
