Detectable spherical bearings for the food industry

The igubal Food Contact (FC) series offers FDA-compliant high-performance plastics for use in food processing plants. These bearings prevent product contamination, require no additional lubricant and can be easily sterilised with hot steam. They are resistant to cleaning agents, chemicals and alcohol. The blue colouring makes them easy to identify and detectable additives enable even the smallest fragments to be located.

When do I use them?

  • When particles need to be detectable
  • When maintenance-free materials are required
  • When dimensional series E and K components are to be used
  • When high compressive strength is required
  • When high flexibility is required

When should I not use them?

  • When temperatures are above +80 °C
  • If dimensions over 16 mm are required
  • If rotational speeds of over 0.5 m/s are to be realised
