Online CNC service proven in practice

The company Dr Quendt GmbH & Co KG had planned a short maintenance interval for one of its production lines. Project engineer Tom Oldach wanted to use the production stop to replace the existing PA bearing with bearings made from iglidur® H1 (see image). As the maintenance interval was only scheduled for a short period, the CNC turned parts had to be procured very quickly.

So Mr. Oldach could simply upload his components via the igus® online tool, have the price calculated for them in seconds and order them directly. Just five days later, Mr. Oldach received the delivery and was able to have the new iglidur® bearings installed on time to restart the production line without delay.
