How does the wear in the pivoting develop with increasing loads?

The wear comparison was carried out under the following test parameters:
load: 1 and 2 MPa
Speed: 0.01 m/s
Shaft: Cf53 and 304 SS
Bearing materials: iglidur® J and iglidur® W300

Test result

In the igus® laboratories, it was determined that the wear rate of iglidur® plain bearings in the low-load swivel increases with doubling, but remains significantly below the wear rate of the sintered bushings.
