This device from the Polish company Kucharczyk can be used to detect mutations in people's genetic material before they lead to clinical symptoms. To do this, glass plates, which serve as the carrier material for the DNA samples, must be positioned as precisely as possible over a heat exchanger in the device. This positioning is performed by a drylin® lead screw linear system with a NEMA23 motor. The system is known for its smooth and precise movements and is also completely maintenance-free.
