For vertical hanging applications where guidance using a guide trough is not possible for space reasons. Magnets hold the energy chain in the specified direction and "fix" it to the metal wall. The magsnap energy chain is also very suitable for vertical circular movements (reverse bend radius), as magnets hold the outer radius of the energy chain on the "reverse bend radius guide trough" and the energy chain can be moved safely and smoothly.

Typical areas of application: Suspended applications, such as: Stacker cranes, lifts, automated car parking stations and vertical applications with circular movements (reverse bend radius)

A magsnap is fitted to every fifth chain link as standard - this can vary for high filling weights. magsnap is available for many igus® energy chains. Energy chains such as the E6.29, the E4.32, the 2600, the B17 and many more have already been equipped with magsnaps.
