Energy supply in a cleanroom and small installation space with e-skin

For linear tables: Linear tables with air bearings have very low bearing friction. This is an advantage when moving slowly compared to e.g. roller bearing tables. In particular, the noise perpendicular to the direction of movement can be very low (≤ 1 nm), depending on the technical design, which makes these stages ideal for applications in roughness or form measuring devices.

The customer's problem was to find a cable routing system that exhibits virtually no wear, is available in no minimum order quantity and can be realised in a small installation space.

The energy chain systems used had to be quickly replaceable. Entire systems were to be equipped with spare parts within a few minutes.

The e-skin® flat SKF12.4.03.01.1 as a 4-fold layer is being used successfully by the customer, as can be seen in the photo.

The PVC & TPE cables from igus® used also run without failure. The customer appreciates the delivery with no minimum order quantity, as well as the quick and easy installation of the e-skin® flat.
