Lubrication-free gliding linear guides

Ship seat with visible damping system and orange guides for shipbuilding.

Schiffbau door with drylin guide at the entrance to a boat interior.

Lubrication-free drylin® W linear systems are maintenance-free and resistant to external influences. Thanks to their special design and the materials used, such as hard-anodised aluminium or stainless steel, they run particularly quietly. This makes them suitable for use in side doors of yachts, sliding doors, shock absorber systems and pull-out drawers in furniture, for example.

Corrosion-free plain bearings

Steering cylinder for control systems in shipbuilding and equipment applications.

Outboard motor with open mounting bracket and visible components for shipbuilding.

Thanks to the wide range of different materials, we have the right solution for every installation location, e.g. hatches, doors or shell doors. Our plain bearings withstand corrosion easily, can be used under water and are durable. In addition, all our plain bearings are completely lubrication-free.

Strong and lightweight energy supply systems

Yacht with tender lift and energy chain in shipbuilding.

Energy chains protect cables and hoses in your applications, in both open and closed versions and a wide range of sizes. Our energy chains are characterised by smooth running and easy installation, in some cases even without tools. Applications include tender lifts, gyroscopic stabilisers, electrically operated gangways, davits, tender boat cranes and radar systems.

Scissor lift table for precise height adjustment.

To absorb shocks, the Canadian company Professional componente has developed the Shockwave S5 shock absorber for seats. The built-in iglidur J4 plain bearings have to withstand shocks of up to 5g with a maximum passenger weight of 150kg. Further requirements were freedom from corrosion and maintenance as well as a low coefficient of friction

Machine with open housing and visible cable chain in an industrial setting.

Roswell Marine builds boats with telescopic roofs. This way, drivers can determine the height of the roof, e.g. to pass under low bridges. The E2/000 e-chains allow for safe cable guidance while withstanding the salt water and constant vibrations and shocks.

Seat and adjustment mechanism inside a boat.

For the latest seat version, the designers at Kaj Naval used a drylin W linear guide for the spring-loaded shock absorber. It ensures that the seat glides smoothly even at high speeds and absorbs the vibrations of the shafts. Thanks to the use of tribo-polymer sliding elements, the guide carriage has no lateral clearance and shows no signs of wear even after a long period of operation.
