The combination of the tribologically optimised drylin® W linear guide made of carbon with dry-tech® polymers in the carriage and deflection make the ZLW-0630-P toothed belt axis the first completely metal-free toothed belt axis. Thanks to the consistent all-plastic design within the deflection stations, including the use of xiros® ball bearings (with plastic or glass balls), the system is extremely lightweight and completely maintenance-free, as all bearing points are lubrication-free and dry-running.
