The actual length depends on the module and is a multiple of the pitch. The gear racks start and end with a full tooth and can therefore be paired to the desired length.

Note on the gear rack

Residual stresses in the material and manufacturing conditions can lead to distortion. However, this does not affect the functionality of the gear rack, as they are brought back into the correct shape during assembly.

Note for the mechanical post-processing of catalogue items

The injection-moulded gear may contain blowholes created during production. These may become visible during post-processing. This does not usually impair the function of the components.
