igubal EGLM – versatile and robust spherical bearing for demanding applications
The igubal EGLM spherical bearing of dimensional series E is ideal for rotating, oscillating and axial movements and is characterised by its high-quality materials and versatile application possibilities. It compensates for alignment errors and edge loads, is corrosion-free, and features high dampening capacity as well as very good vibration dampening.
The housing is made of igumid G, an impact-resistant, long-fibre reinforced polymer that is suitable for temperatures from -40°C to +120°C and can withstand short-term exposure up to +180°C. This material ensures high dimensional stability and long service life. The spherical ball of the spherical bearing can be selected from various materials, including iglidur W300 (standard), iglidur J and iglidur J4. These high-performance polymers offer high wear resistance and a long service life without the need for lubrication. This significantly reduces maintenance and ensures continuous performance in a wide range of applications.
The igubal spherical bearings are an outstanding solution for a wide range of applications where high performance, freedom from maintenance and insensitivity to dirt are essential. They offer numerous advantages over conventional metallic spherical bearings and are a cost-effective, lightweight and robust choice for machine and plant engineering.
