Lead screw nut made of iglidur® J350 - High-temperature material for temperatures up to +150°C
Our lead screw nut made of the high-performance polymer iglidur® J350 enables the application at permanently medium to high ambient temperatures. The long-term application temperature ideally should be between +60 and +150°C in order to obtain the maximum performance out of the material.
Further advantages are:
 
► Dimensionally stable even at high temperatures
► Certifiable according to EN 45545 HL3, R24
► Good coefficient of friction at medium loads
► Operating temperature range up to +150°C upper long-term application temperature
► Permissible long-term surface pressure in the threads 0 - 3.0 MPa

All our lead screw nuts are manufactured from wear-resistant iglidur® high-performance polymers.
There are 7 different standard materials available for various applications: iglidur J - high efficiency at all speeds, iglidur J350 - for temperatures up to +150°C, iglidur A180 - FDA-compliant for the food-pharmaceutical industry, iglidur E7 - for high speeds at low loads, iglidur R - vibration and vibration-inhibiting, iglidur J200 - best counterpart to aluminium and iglidur W300 - for high-load applications.

The base material is additionally reinforced with technical fibres or fillers The solid lubricants are microscopic particles, embedded in millions of tiny chambers of the material. This is adequate to sufficiently lubricate the immediate surrounding area and to reduce the friction of the system. These additives stabilise our lead screw nuts decisively for wear resistance.
