Igus Educational Robot made of modular building blocks – perfect for schools and training purposes

The Educational Robot is a fully operational 6-axis articulated robotic arm that mimics the motions and programmability of a real industrial robot. With approximately 950 building components, it has a reach of around 330 mm and operates using the igus Robot Control system (iRC). Equipped with motors for all six axes, it enables lifelike kinematic movements. The total weight is about 1.3 kg, with an additional 0.6 kg for the accessory set.

Programming the robot is achieved via the igus Robot Control system, offering the ability to control and program it as you would a real industrial robotic arm. The system also supports “offline programming” through its simulation mode. A USB cable is used for connection.

This robot is ideally suited for schools, universities, and training institutions, providing a hands-on, interactive way to explore robotics, kinematics, and programming.
