Cable set for robots with five axes
This cable set consisting of motor, encoder & sensor cable is suitable for individual axes and 5-axis articulated arm robots. This set makes it possible to transmit signals and data to the appropriate control system.
Control system
The igus Robot Control enables a simple and intuitive robot control and programming, making it easy to get started with automation. The modular design makes it possible to control various igus kinematics, such as linear robots or delta robots.
The free-of-charge, licence-free igus Robot Control software is integrated into the control system and thus makes use of a uniform operating concept and consistent communication services for many components of a system. This entails less project planning and faster commissioning.
The igus Robot Control is not a component of the part and can optionally be purchased from us. A master control system is not necessary.
It is also possible to use your own (robot) control system.
Alternatively, it is also possible to operate each axis individually with a control system. For example, with our igus® D1 dryve motor control system. With this control architecture, for each you need one motor control system and an additional master control system per linear axis, which controls the coordination of the movement. The motor control systems are not components of the part and can be ordered from us as an option. igus does not offer a master control system at the moment.
