igus donates a total of 1,000 spools of the wear-resistant iglidur i150 filament to non-profit organisations that are committed to repairing defective everyday objects.

Tribofilament was developed specifically for the 3D printing of moving parts that are subjected to great friction and wear. The solid lubricants contained in our filaments increase the service life of the 3D-printed parts by a factor of up to 50 compared to conventional 3D printing materials. This makes the tribofilament ideal for the production of wear-resistant spare parts that can significantly extend the service life of used equipment.
