In order to carry out work piece movement is six degrees of freedom, a joint with three degrees of freedom is required on the toothed belt slide and on the moving plate. igubal® flange bearings with outer threads from igus® were chosen for this. The use of lubricant-free bearings and toothed belt axes means that the system can be used in the food industry as well as in all segments where the degrees of freedom of a normal delta robot are no longer sufficient.
