Lubrication-free and maintenance-free drylin linear technology in the innovative Cobot 3D printer

Light, quiet and lubrication-free: optimum quality and performance in a high-quality 3D printer

In addition to the generous installation space, the Cobot 3D printer impresses with its innovative design. The one-piece aluminium chassis encloses the pressure chamber and all mechanical components are mounted on the inside. The reduction to a few fail-safe components enables fast assembly, a low price, and at the same time guarantees 3D printing results of the highest quality.

Use of linear guides in 3D printers

drylin® linear guides in the Cobot 3D printer are an ideal support for the concept

Linear guides of the drylin® T and W series, and the drylin® SD lead screw drives and linear carriages travel completely lubrication-free. This eliminates the risk of contaminating the housing, the filament, and the print result. In addition, the maintenance-free operation increases reliability. Commissioning after changing or servicing the extruder head or the nozzle size is quick and easy due to the drylin® N low-profile guide system.Apart from the lightweight due to the use of plastic and aluminium with a corrosion-free coating, the guides in the drylin® series impress with their principle of "gliding instead of rolling" and their quiet and precise running.
