Wear if pivoting, single trip mode

Plain bearings on hard-chromed shaft in a comparison Pivot angle: 48°; load: 29.5MPa

Test result

Compared to a "metal-rolled bearing" with a gliding layer, the iglidur Z material has a significantly lower wear rate. The surface of the hard-chromed shaft is to be regarded as corrosion-resistant under these conditions. The visible traces of corrosion clearly derive from the metal back of the bearing. The gliding layer has also been partially worn away.
