Front loader test rig

Wear if pivoting, single trip mode

Plain bearings on nitrocarburised shaft in a comparison Pivot angle: 7°; load: 29.5MPa

Test result

If a completely lubrication-free and maintenance-free solution is to be created, the shaft should be effectively protected against corrosion. This can be made possible by means of the nitrocarburisation process, for example. On one side of the front loader, metal-rolled bearings were tested. "Seizure" occurred in the course of the test. This results in a high degree of wear and a loss of corrosion protection in the contact area of the shaft. On the left-hand side, different iglidur materials were tested. iglidur Z had the best results. But the cost-effective all-rounder iglidur G also did well when used with the shaft.
