What can the iglidur® materials for continuous operation do?

Every iglidur® plain bearing is wear-optimised. However, the materials for continuous operation, such as iglidur® J and iglidur® W300, are characterised by very low wear rates, which means a long service life. In addition to their service life and the price level, the materials for continuous operation differ among other things by temperature and load ranges as well as the applicability in conjunction with special shaft materials.

Like all iglidur® materials, endurance runners have the following specifications:

iglidur® J - The versatile endurance runner

  • The versatile endurance runner, highly resistant to wear on (nearly) all shafts with very low coefficient of friction
  • Low wear with many different shaft materials
  • Low coefficient of friction during dry operation
  • Vibration-dampening
