Status: The corona regulations, which are applicable in Germany from 2nd November 2020 onwards, do not have any influence on production at our Cologne facility. igus is currently making deliveries from our warehouse in Cologne and all other storage locations around the world without any restrictions. We have addressed a central problem in the production of medical protective shields and thanks to injection moulding we can now produce 2,000 face shield headbands per day. We donate the parts to non-profit and charitable institutions and educational establishments.
With a few exceptions, all igus motion plastics are manufactured at the headquarters in Cologne. Production here is currently running without restrictions.
