De-icing and washing system from MSG Production AS

e-chain® in use at -40 degrees

MSG Production AS has developed a fully automated all-in-one concept to reduce time, delays and therefore costs when de-icing and washing aeroplanes. The Norwegian company relies entirely on the advantages of motion plastic from igus®: energy chains from the E2 and E4 series ensure safe cable routing, while igubal® pillow block bearings are used to support the cleaning nozzles.

energy supply in GESTRA radar system

GESTRA is a radar-based system from the Fraunhofer Institute for searching and mapping space debris. Development partner AlpinaTec GmbH relies on compact e-chain systems from igus® for the high-precision three-axis positioning system. They ensure a reliable energy supply and the clean guidance of a wide variety of media lines in a confined space.
