"Intelligent" retraction system for multiple robot applications. Expansion lengths of 600 mm enable a secure guidance of the cables and hoses, even with large arm diameters and very complex movements. The retraction forces can be adjusted with the help of a pneumatic cylinder. Whether light or heavy fillings, long or short robot arms - with the igus® RSP retraction system the retraction force can always be adjusted according to the individual application.
 

  • Even larger triflex® R e-chains® can be guided safely up to ø 125 mm
  • Adjustable, variable pull-back force made possible by a pressure control valve
  • Virtually constant power flow over the complete travel, even with heavy fillings.
  • Limit position can be monitored, therefore avoiding significant damage during failures.
  • Larger pull-back forces for RS system
  • Mounting options for numerous robot types and manufacturers with adapter consoles
  • Typical applications: Axis 3-6 on industrial robots
  • Hardly any energy consumption due to integrated air reservoir
